Biography:

Harold Heath's super-charged house music productions have been winning world-wdie accolades for the last few years, with support coming from the underground and overground alike. And with an innate ability to read the crowd & around 15 years of DJing experience, Harold's DJ sets are a not-be-missed feast of deep dirty beats.

Harold finally elbowed his way into the House scene back in 2001 with his initial releases on the highly regarded Canadian imprint Stickman, having been DJing since the early 90s. His debut was the first in a long line of consistently high quality releases that have appeared on some of the most respected underground house labels over the last few years; Labels including Bushwacka's Oblong, UK outfits Urbantorque, Sensei, Lost My Dog, Freaked, Boxa, Uhuru Beats, Reverberations Ltd. as well as overseas labels Detour, Household, Soco Audio, Magnitude, Taboo, Groove Pleasure, Terraform, KGB etc. DJ support has come from all over the world with Layo and Bushwacka!, Ashley Beedle, Ralph Lawson, Satoshi Tomiie, Terry Francis & Nathan Coles, Pete Tong, Dave Mothersole, Tyler Stadius, Desyn Massiello etc. all succumbing to the unique charms of Harold's dirty jacking house and tech funk. Starting his career in music as a rare groove DJ, Harold traveled a musical route familiar to many DJs – from Electro, Hip Hop and Rare Groove through to Acid House and beyond. Harold paid his DJ dues with a few years behind the decks at his infamous Blowyourown parties, a year long residency at the now-departed Eauzone in London as well as slots all over the UK and Europe.

Armed with a sonic arsenal to die for and an impeccable ear for what works on the dance-floor, it’s no surprise that Harold’s DJ sets reflect the funk-fuelled energy of his releases. His DJ schedule has taken him to the US and all over Europe as well as guest appearances on the London Underground House scene at Wiggle, Kerfuffle, Sizzle, Peg etc. Harold also currently holds down two residencies at Lovestick in Brighton and the Bedroom Bar in London.

When Harold released his debut album “Hole Funk” on Urbantorque ("...the UK’s best deep house label" – iDJ Magazine), it cemented his position as one of the finest producers on the UK house scene today ("…this is one immaculate debut" 5 out of 5 iDJ Magazine). CHECK OUT SOME ALBUM REVIEWS:here
